This is a lovely ring; I bought for my pinky finger. I have never had a birthstone ring, and the claddagh setting is my favorite.
I bought this ring because in 1996 my husband and I renewed our wedding vows in Ireland, and he bought me a claddagh ring to commemorate the event. The ring is highly detailed amd just the right size to notice it on the wearers hand from 3 or 4 feet away. I saw a similar ring from a very famous jeweler in a upscale magazine ( at the dentist office ) and loved the look.
Once I found out what it cost I was bummed out as I thought it'd be a perfect ring for my wife when she didn't want to wear her traditional wedding band, engagement and eternity ring set she wears for dressier occasions (which for us is most of the time, pretty casual 90+% of the time.)
Upon arrival the ring looked great was the proper size and is just fantastic in the flesh so to speak.
